MoU between Riffa Views & Bahrain Garden Club

On the occasion of Bahrain International Garden Show 2019, Riffa Views Company entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bahrain Garden Club for agricultural cooperation between the two parties and the promotion of agricultural awareness within the Riffa Views community. The MoU was signed by Bahrain Garden Club Chairperson Engineer Zahra Abdulmalik and Riffa Views Business Development Manager Abdulrahim Mohammed Haji.

The signing ceremony was held at Bahrain International Garden Show in the presence of H.E. Shaikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa, Secretary General of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development, who expressed pleasure with this constructive cooperation between Riffa Views and Bahrain Garden Club, emphasizing that such memoranda of understanding facilitate the development of the agricultural sector. She also commended the efforts by the private sector to bolster the development of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Yasser Abdulrahman Alraee, Managing Director of Riffa Views welcomed the cooperation with Bahrain Garden Club who has extensive experience in the agricultural field spanning more than 50 years since its inception, adding that “the Club has had many contributions and achievements and completed many projects aimed at developing the Kingdom’s agricultural sector, with an outstanding track record in preserving environmental resources, encouraging tree planting and promoting agricultural awareness”.

Alraee affirmed that “Riffa Views will proceed immediately with the implementation of the MoU, to include arranging the participation of Bahrain Garden Club in events, activities and programs organized at the Riffa Views Residential Complex, contributing to the promotion of agricultural awareness by educating and enabling Riffa Views community members in agriculture, and encouraging Bahrain Garden Club members to participate in agricultural projects at Riffa Views”. He also reiterated his support to the Club’s efforts towards drafting agricultural legislations, protecting the environment and supporting and spreading eco-friendly uses.

Engineer Zahra Abdulmalik, Chairperson of Bahrain Garden Club lauded Riffa Views efforts in support of the agricultural sector, pointing out that “the Club will, through this MoU, provide theoretical knowledge and practical experience in landscaping, and organize lectures and workshops by experts in the various agricultural domains”, adding that “Bahrain Garden Club will develop various training programs for Riffa Views community members, participate in judging agricultural competitions organized by Riffa Views, and contribute proposals and ideas for the development of agricultural systems”.
